Meet Koryn Cramer
Founder & Event Strategist
With over a decade of experience producing bespoke, high-impact events, I’m an event strategist dedicated to creating seamless experiences which engage audiences and drive results. Born in Michigan, I followed my passion west to San Diego State University, earning a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with a focus on Meetings and Events, and knew early on this was what I wanted to do.
After graduating, I spent six years in Washington, D.C., gaining invaluable experience and building the foundation for my career. Reaching New York City was always the goal, and moving here allowed me to fully pursue my passion for producing high-impact events.
I’ve worked with renowned organizations, including The Economist and The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., partnering with senior executives, policymakers, and global brands to deliver events which engage audiences and drive results.
I named Waypoint because it reflects both my passion for global events and the journey I’ve taken — moving across the country and building my career to create the business I’ve always dreamed of. Starting Waypoint wasn’t just about building a business; it’s about owning my work, reflecting my values, and delivering events that make a real impact.
